The Prince Edward County Health Department will offer a vaccine walk-in day on Friday, August 2nd from 8:30a.m.-4:00p.m. Students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please bring your student's vaccine record with you. The Health Department is located at 111 South Street on the ground floor. This event is not sponsored by PECPS.

π§ Pre-K Orientation will be held on July 31st from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
π§Kindergarten Orientation will be held on July 31st from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Reminders: Pre-K & K families may arrive at any time during those hours. The 5th and 9th grade orientations will follow an agenda, so please arrive on time. Open House will be held on August 1st from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on a floating schedule.

Schedule Update: π Conditioning has been canceled for the rest of the week for PECMS football.


Three PECHS students attended the Summer Scholars Program at Longwood University. Tammie Brazeal, Ricky Gee, and Daniel Lawson are pictured with their final research projects. Summer Scholars is a science program for high school students that provides hands-on learning experiences and practical training in different research areas to prepare students for college and a future career in a STEM-related field.
