
On Tuesday, September 24th, the Prince Edward County High School Student Council Association attended the Leadership Farmville Youth Summit sponsored by the Farmville Chamber of Commerce. π¦
β¨ Students participated in breakout sessions with Benchmark Community Bank, Virginia Credit Union, Southside Electric Cooperative, and A Great Escape Spalon. They learned how to be student leaders within their community and gained valuable insights from each presenter. π‘π Closing out the event was Hampden-Sydney Basketball Coach Caleb Kimbrough, who encouraged students to wake up each day and be their best selves. ππͺ

Mrs. Grazier, the Assistant Principal at the ES, was happy to deliver these new journals! The journals are designed to promote creativity π they have ample space for our Eagles to write, with guidelines for reference and open space above to illustrate their thoughts. ποΈ



PECPS students recently visited the Governor's School of Southside Virginia at SVCC for two days of hands-on learning. π¬π The program featured lessons in physics, engineering, chemistry, parts of speech, and biology. π§ͺβοΈ It was student-led and included PECHS GSSV students.











Our students are enjoying this learning opportunity! Eagles at the high school can select from several work-based learning experiences. These amazing Eagles chose the Prince Edward County Animal Shelter. π¦
