💜💛 We’re celebrating our PECHS Positive Office Referrals for the week of September 14! This week was especially exciting as several Eagles earned their very first Positive Office Referral for showing academic improvement and putting in the work to grow in the classroom. Others were recognized for kindness, helping others, and making our school a better place through the way they treat those around them. Every referral reminds us that success comes in many forms, and we love celebrating our students when they get it right! Congratulations to this week’s Eagles! 🦅 Together We Rise!

Each year, the Southside Governor's School offers an outreach event over two days. Several PECPS 3rd-8th graders were able to attend this year. Our Prince Edward Eagles learned a great deal, participated actively, and had LOADS of fun. Each station taught various science and math concepts, coupled with an engaging theme. Juniors and Seniors of the Southside Governor's School have been preparing their stations since May and their enthusiasm was reflected in their costumes and props, carefully prepared to focus the lesson accordingly. We are so grateful that this educational opportunity is offered to the Southside area of Virginia!

Last week's Parent-Teacher Conferences provided a wonderful opportunity for families and teachers to connect, share updates, and celebrate student progress. Our teachers and staff are always here to support our Eagles and work alongside families throughout the school year. Don’t forget, families can stay connected through Connect (formerly Rooms), which is part of the PECPS app, available in the App Store and Google Play. Thank you for being an important part of the Eagle Family! 💜💛
