School Hours 7:45 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.

 The Prince Edward County Elementary School caters to the specific needs of students in pre-Kindergarten through grade four. Teachers instruct students in English, mathematics, science, and social studies, allowing them to create a foundation based upon academic building blocks. Students are assigned to a grade level, where they receive the opportunity to implement complex thinking, understanding, and problem solving. Teachers of art, music, Spanish, and physical education create activities that enhance the learning experience of each child. Students have access to a library media center and four computer labs. The elementary school also offers a continuum of educational placement for student with disabilities, including collaborative classrooms.
